Custom designed and built by Michael Fronzek of Sound Spaces Australia Pty Ltd, our studio features a beautifully conceived mixing and listening environment, perfectly balanced with the world's best practice in choice of equipment including Genelec 5.1 surround sound monitoring, DigiDesign Icon control surface, ProTools HD3 system core, Studer D21m analog mic preamps and AD converters, huge selection of plugins and a wide choice of analog outboard gear.
The Studer D21m mic-pre-system splits and links all microphones from the club, via MADI fiber back to the control room. In the control room, the MADI fiber digital signal is transcoded to ProTools format, using SSL Alpha and Delta LInks . System can support 64 track ProTools sessions with multiple stereo mix returns to the club.
ProTool sessions files are time-stamped with time-of-day timecode to match HD video files. Completed PT sessions are backed-up with FCP video files for editing and post-mixing. For audio post production, the studio offers a range of studio microphones from Neumann, AKG, Rode, Beyer, Neve Prism and DigiDesign mic pres.
